[DDRS007] Various – Rōnin 七
The rōnin roamed the countryside, free from commitment, devoid of favour or privilege, a wanderer without a home. He served no master and feared nothing on earth, his heart as free as a bird and his mind as clear as the morning breeze.
The Magic number 7 provides evidence for the capacity of short-term memory – and yet most of you will still feel that ring in their ears from the assault that was Rōnin 6. Next up is this, kicked off by Rumbler, who has left quite an impression in 2019 on various labels, and mostly doesn’t care about people’s expectations – accordingly, his track rumbles and rocks like a freight train. Italian producer Exome discards all dance floor ambitions altogether with arguably the noisiest, grittiest offering on the series so far. Then it’s up to Sacerdos Vigilia and his mate Vecordia to provide two unadulterated industrial party tracks, with Sacerdos being incited by his hostility towards Gerald – and you wouldn’t like him either, trust us!
